NHL March 19th

A good night yesterday, with both picks going in. The Penguins won 2-1 over the the Bruins, while the Capitals beat the Sabres 5-3.

   Dallas Stars – Calgary Flames (March 19th | 01.35)

It’s a new week and there are new opportunities. The first pick for tonight will be the Stars. With just one point in their last 4 games, the Stars need to get things going. After the humiliating loss to the Blackhawks on Saturday, revenge should be written all over them. The Flames haven’t won away from home since they last visited Texas in February. The Flames won that game 4-3, so hopefully the Stars want revenge for that as well. We think it will be a tight game (like almost every NHL game), where the Stars come out as the winner. Players like Jaromir Jagr, Derek Roy and Loui Eriksson have to step up their game to get the Stars back on track.

Our pick: Dallas Stars ML (Included OT and Penalties)
Odds: 1.74 @ B365
Units: 7

New York Rangers – Carolina Hurricanes (March 19th | 00.05)

Tonight’s second pick are the Rangers. The Rangers have lost four of their last five games while the Hurricanes have lost three of their last five. After the painful defeat to the Penguins on Saturday, the Rangers are hopefully ready to get things back on track when the Canes visit the “Big Apple” tonight. This is a very important game for the Rangers and they desperately need a win. If their goalie Henrik Lundqvist can step up his A-game and his teammates produce some goals, they will win.

Our pick: New York Rangers ML (Included OT and Penalties)
Odds: 1.68 @ B365
Units: 10
