MLB Opening Day

The opening day brings alot more action to the table with 12 games to be played! There was some lack of value some places and alot of value other places. There were 4 games were I found some good value. Won’t put too many units into play as it’s though to know what’s the best plays this early in the season!

Milwaukee Brewers (Yovani Gallardo) – Colorado Rockies (Jhoulys Chacin) (April 1st | 20:10)

Both teams offenses look very good going into the season and both teams pitching rotations had tons of troubles last season and I don’t think that will change this time around.

Our pick: Over 7,5
Odds: 1.83 @ B365
Units: 2

Los Angeles Dodgers (Clayton Kershaw) – San Francisco Giants (Matt Cain) (April 1st | 22:10)

If you’re a fan of pitching duels they don’t come any bigger than this. The Dodgers host their hardest rivals in the race for the division title with two fantastic aces on the mound! Perfect Cain who always delivers consistently against Clayton Kershaw. Two of the biggest pitching names in the game. What also needs to be said is the way the Dodgers has started spending alot of money on players like Carl Crawford, Adrien Gonzalez etc. I believe it will be a close game with two of the best defensive teams in the league. However I believe the line is sat a little bit too low as it’s pretty early in the season and the starting pitchers probably won’t go as deep as they would when 100% fit. The odds for the reigning World Series champions Giants I just couldn’t keep my hands off as players like Brandon Belt has been really hot this Spring! The Giants should also hope that World Series MVP Pablo Sandoval will get ready as he has been having some troubles this Spring.

Our pick: San Francisco Giants
Odds: 2.40 @ B365
Units: 2

Our Pick: Over 6,0
Odds: 1.83 @ B365
Units: 1

Minnesota Twins (Vance Worley) – Detroit Tigers (Justin Verlander) (April 1st | 22:10)

miguel-cabrera-triple-crown-trophy-backThe Tigers doesn’t really need an introduction as there is no doubt that they probably have one of the most intimidating lineups in all of MLB. And with the Verlander on the mound I’ve got really no doubt that they’ll lose this game. With Triple-crowner Miguel Cabrera and the powerful Prince Fielder at the middle of the order they should be set for another great season!

Our pick: Detroit Tigers
Odds: 1.51 @ B365
Units: 2

Our pick: Detroit Tigers -2.0 (3-way)
Odds: 2.50 @B365
Units: 1

Seattle Mariners (Felix Hernandez) – Oakland Athletics (Brett Anderson) (April 2nd | 04:05)

The Seattle Mariners has had a fantastic spring, that and the fact that King Felix starts the year at the mound makes me believe that they’ll keep the win in Seattle! Their lineup also looks alot better after some good signings this winter. It’ll probably be a close game but the value looks good for the Mariners.

Our pick: Seattle Mariners
Odds: 2.0 @ B365
Units: 3
